Cell Phones

I was asked about transferring a phone book from one cell phone to another yesterday. That was the highlight of my day. I love the retarded user belief that anything with electricity in it is our domain. Electricity was in use for almost a century before computers became a household item. I am a computer tech, domain admin, backup admin, applications development specialist, tier three support, wireless solutions specialist and a pretty damn pissy person at times too, but I am no better than the average person when it comes to cell phones, or faxes, or calculators.

In any case, users always mistake me for other things. I've been asked to decorate people's offices for them.

User: "Hey ITFury, can you move my desk over there and arrange my computer in this corner?"

ITFury: "Ahem" *cracks knuckles* "Mr User sir, perhaps you could call movers to move stuff. And if you want, I can put your computer in a different dark pocket somewhere in this office."

Let us pray. Oh Users, gee you are so stupid, so utterly dumb. We're all underimpressed down here I can tell ya.

Oh Mr User who thinks I do the work of janitors
If you want your computer working, mind your manners
